Welcome to Hickory Isles, an adventure role-playing game inspired by the Warrior Cats series by Erin Hunter.
After a young ThunderClan cat purportedly received a message from StarClan to create a new Clan, cats from all over the forest territories band together to cross the small strip of water at the Sundrown Place and make a home on the island known as Hickory Isles. You are one of the founders of this new Clan. Will CedarClan find peace in their new home?
THIS IS A DEMO! The first two days of story are complete. The storyline after that, kits, the twolegplace, and side quests are not yet complete.
There are mobile controls, but this game will not load on many mobile devices due to its size.
FAQ:
Q: Can you have a mate/what are the mate options?
A: Sort of, yes! Mates and kits will be fully implemented in part 2, but right now you can "date" one of seven characters: Westfire, Dawnwhisker, Flintsong, Wavefront, Quailtuft, Hawkfeather, and Stormfall. You can let a character know you like them by giving them a rose (not to be confused with a tulip). Roses can be found at the tops of some mountains. Some characters might need to be given multiple to get the hint.
Q: Where is Part 2 of the story/what point in development is the game?
A: Part 2 is currently in development! It's a (mostly) one man team working on this, so it's bound to take some time. There's no release date yet, but more updates will be given as progress is made.

If you are wondering if you can die in this game, you can. Once you're able to head to the mountains, jump off the cliff once to be sent back to the medicine cat den. Do it again, and congrats, you died! (thats if you want to. I'll put an update if you can die any other way. Maybe you can also die in battle but idk.)
You can also eat the death berries in the medicine den. And you can die in battle, but same as every other cause of death, the first time you ‘die’ you enter a ‘fortified’ state, then die again.
I have killed almost everyone in my clan the med cat nightfall trying to kill the leader but how do I kill the leade

I found a glitch. whenever i was touring the trerrioy with Hawkfeather, his chat got all messed up and just turned into: *******************************. Also there animation would double this also happened with echo fight and willow kit

You just gotta get a random mate(dosent matter who) and when you copy the code,instead of the mates name just write anyone else like echoflight,honeyclaw etc etc
You can also use cheats by pressing . then typing 'setloveinterest' and then the name of whichever cat you want to date :)

Minor feedback:
if you murder a clan member the clan will comment on it, but if your patrol buddy gets actually killed a rogue, nobody even notices theirs absence.
And of course if it happens often, nobody comments on your fighting incompetence nor odd behavior.
Maybe we should get some kind of reaction?
hey i saw a bug while playing it doesnt affect much but when exploring the territory with flintsong and the kit their layers would duplicate and their animations would be double just ketting ya know!

some feedback... every attack is too strong?
Every cat can be killed in a hit or two, goes both for allies and enemies. This makes the "strategic rpg combat" very mundane.
Can we get a nerf on attacks? Every cat is a glass cannon.
Thank you for the feedback! I really do need to work on balancing combat. I’ve gotten similar complaints that allies die too easily in battle. I’ll add that to my list of things to do.
also, in the begining, you can get lvls so easily, i got to lvl 20 one time, i one shot anything
What do the roses look like? Trying to date a cat and it isn't working

Lots of Players are saying that they like the pelt patterns, and character designs(Including me.), so can we add advansed Character customization, I think the main players could look alot more like the bots,Thanks!
