Welcome to Hickory Isles, an adventure role-playing game inspired by the Warrior Cats series by Erin Hunter.
After a young ThunderClan cat purportedly received a message from StarClan to create a new Clan, cats from all over the forest territories band together to cross the small strip of water at the Sundrown Place and make a home on the island known as Hickory Isles. You are one of the founders of this new Clan. Will CedarClan find peace in their new home?
THIS IS A DEMO! The first two days of story are complete. The storyline after that, kits, the twolegplace, and side quests are not yet complete.
There are mobile controls, but this game will not load on many mobile devices due to its size.
FAQ:
Q: Can you have a mate/what are the mate options?
A: Sort of, yes! Mates and kits will be fully implemented in part 2, but right now you can "date" one of seven characters: Westfire, Dawnwhisker, Flintsong, Wavefront, Quailtuft, Hawkfeather, and Stormfall. You can let a character know you like them by giving them a rose (not to be confused with a tulip). Roses can be found at the tops of some mountains. Some characters might need to be given multiple to get the hint.
Q: Where is Part 2 of the story/what point in development is the game?
A: Part 2 is currently in development! It's a (mostly) one man team working on this, so it's bound to take some time. There's no release date yet, but more updates will be given as progress is made.

hi icy tea! the game is great and I love it, but the save slots don't save and that is a problem.Can you please fix it but I'm not sure that's posible on scratch. have a great day/night! <3
Hello! Can you elaborate a bit on what happened when you had this issue? Were you saving using text codes or local cache storage, and what happened when you tried to save?
they don't seem too concerned that half the clan is dead nor that I'm actively bleeding and there's no med cat to help me.

I like it! It's very quaint and enjoyable-- I'd love to see where the plot goes next... Awesome animation & designs as well... Waiting patiently for part 2! Also, the roses is very fun, I like to stack my inventory and character clots with them and practically spam love interests with them lolol ^^

I love this game so much ! can't wait for part 2 . also, not as an insult, but the elder ( forgot his name ) has a scar by the eye and torn ear, but his profile once I talk to him shows me he isn't injured no more- ;-;

It’s actually a whole book series by Erin Hunter, (Warriors) & it also has manga and graphic novel versions if you’re more into comics and illustrated stuff.
So you can read it as regular novels or dive into the drawn versions too!

How many of the cats are exclusively she-cat4she-cat and tom4tom? I only know that Westfire is exclusively lesbian so far
I’m pretty sure Wavefront is into other toms! Also, I’ve noticed some of the rogues and upcoming characters might have more LGBTQ+ options too! ^^
Oh dang I didn't know he was only into toms! I actually have a save with him as my tom OC's mate, but I lowkey just assumed he was bi
I found a couple of glitches recently.
First, whenever you kill Stormfall and then save the game, he keeps reappearing, and you have to do it all over again.
Second, with the sleep option that says “Yes” or “No,” if you click too fast or slightly out of bounds, the text “No” stays on the screen, but the bord behind it disappears.
What time did you kill Stormfall? Was it during his initiation on Day 2 or after that?
It mostly happened after he had already settled into the Clan, once most of the storyline seemed to be finished from what I’ve noticed so far.
I really like the model that our "create a cat" at the beginning uses. I hope they update it to change our sprite in-game to something like that!

to find them, walk past the area where you would usually go to the moonstone. Keep going past the first arrow you encounter, then use the second arrow! You should find a rose bush :D
help i can't catch prey ! how do i catch prey?
Hold your down button and make sure you aren't touching the prey, then press space when the little slider is on the green. The closer you can get without touching the prey, the more green you will have. Hope this helped you out :D

I just have to say this, this game is easily one of my all time favorites. The characters are so lovable, the storyline is incredibly entertaining, and the art and coding are absolutely magnificent. Every single person on the team deserves a huge pat on the back for the work you’ve all put into this.
I truly hope you never abandon this project, it’s far too special and completely worth continuing!

I'm so sorry to hear that! I'll look into what could be causing that. Can you provide any specific details on what happened? Such as, did this happen upon trying to save your game, trying to load your game, or a different point in time? Did your previous save overwrite your current one?
Oh, yeah, it actually happened when I tried to save the game after the story was completed, like it said on screen. Unfortunately, it completely overwrote my last save. It only seems to happen after I finish Part One, though.
Ah, I see. I noticed that earlier; I think I accidentally made it so that the part 1 end screen goes to the load menu instead of the save menu. Apologies. I can go fix that now

This is such a cute game! I found it trying to get kit to leader and was curious. It is why better than I expected, but, I do have one question, can I mate with Wavefront?
Wavefront is one of the 7 characters you can 'date'. :) (All of those characters are listed in the description).
