Welcome to Hickory Isles, an adventure role-playing game inspired by the Warrior Cats series by Erin Hunter.
After a young ThunderClan cat purportedly received a message from StarClan to create a new Clan, cats from all over the forest territories band together to cross the small strip of water at the Sundrown Place and make a home on the island known as Hickory Isles. You are one of the founders of this new Clan. Will CedarClan find peace in their new home?
THIS IS A DEMO! The first two days of story are complete. The storyline after that, kits, the twolegplace, and side quests are not yet complete.
There are mobile controls, but this game will not load on many mobile devices due to its size.
FAQ:
Q: Can you have a mate/what are the mate options?
A: Sort of, yes! Mates and kits will be fully implemented in part 2, but right now you can "date" one of seven characters: Westfire, Dawnwhisker, Flintsong, Wavefront, Quailtuft, Hawkfeather, and Stormfall. You can let a character know you like them by giving them a rose (not to be confused with a tulip). Roses can be found at the tops of some mountains. Some characters might need to be given multiple to get the hint.
Q: Where is Part 2 of the story/what point in development is the game?
A: Part 2 is currently in development! It's a (mostly) one man team working on this, so it's bound to take some time. There's no release date yet, but more updates will be given as progress is made.

As a she-cat what are all the other options of she cats you can date?
If you play as a she-cat, the only other she-cat you can date is Westfire.

You can technically date a cat of the same gender (Wavefront & Quailtuft (note: he's pansexual but i'm still putting him here) if male OR Westfire if female) but kits will be coming in part 2!
Actually, Wavefront and Quailtuft, Flintsong is only attracted to toms!

I've attempted to find roses, yet only found tulips. does anyone know where specifically you find them, are do they just show in part 2
Walk right from the tulips/the trail that leads up to the Moonstone and keep walking right past the arrow which points straight upwards till you reach the slanted arrow that points upwards/right. Click on that arrow and walk up that mountain. There should be a few rose bushes up there.

Does anyone have any guesses for why the game won't let me walk (using the wad keys I mean)? It lets me go into the different areas next to spawn, talk to the cats, and catch prey. It just isn't seeming to let my character move around.
Hm then i suppose your computer lets you walk with the arrow keys
i use arrow keys but i didn't actually try wasd mby its a bug or mby you camt use wasd

I'm pretty sure there's a link under the game! Also, unfortunately, you can only test part 2 if you are in lvl 6 in the DISCORD server (you can get to level 6 by chatting in it), not if your cat is level six.

Question, will we ever be able to be mates with Echoflight?
No, i tried it, she said she is loyal to the warrior code but you can become mates with her if you click ".' and "setloveinterest" and write the name of the cat you like. You can also make a save code, date a random character and change their name from lets say Dawnwhisker to Echoflight
on the wiki, she used to have a mate and two kits.
Her getting a mate + two sons will actually occur later in the timeline! I don't think it'll be shown in this game due to the story's scope, however.

Hi! I have a question, I'm currently already on day eight and I'm wondering if my progress has to be deleted when I play part two when it's out, as part two seems to be playing over the days 3-6. Thx!:)
Save files will still be usable, but it's recommended that you make a new save when part 2 releases. Old saves will return the player to the end of day 2.

How do I copy the save code?
Go to your game, click menu and go to settings, click "save game" and "copy a text code", if you're on mobile tripple-tap the code to copy it, same goes for pc

After the update 2.0, you'll be able to give poisoned mice to most cats, though I'm not sure if it applies to all of them. In any case, as far as I know, if you give one to Cedarstar, she'll banish you from the Clan.
Yeah, I tried it out and I think it's really cool. Not gonna lie, it would be nice to have it so we could play as a rouge after being banished.
How do i poison prey?
In part 2 we'll be able to buy Poisoned Mice, but in the meantime you can use cheats to obtain them. (Press . then type 'holditem' and after that type ,Poisoned Mouse')

How to cheat using a tablet?
I don't think it's possible (yet). I believe there was some talk about adding some sort of button in the menu, but I'm not sure what the conclusion was.

For now they're only accessible with cheats- on the keyboard press '.' and then enter 'holditem' and after that, 'Poisoned Mouse'.
In part 2 you'll be able to buy them without using cheats (seemingly from a rogue called Diesel going off of the content on the wiki).

Close! just type 'holditem' alone, then press enter and you'll have another prompt where you enter 'Poisoned Mouse'
I did not know how to access the cheat menu so I just changed my save file text and renamed my inventory item from Mouse, to Poisoned Mouse.
Also, to explain the spoillers,
to get the exile ending, gift the poison to Cedarstar. In theory there must be more ways to get exiled, but I prefer the 100% completion when there is simply no more clan.

how do you kill the kit and queen?
It's not possible in the game yet (without cheats) but in part 2 when Poisoned Mice are accessible we should be able to poison Honeyclaw. Not sure about the kits (they don't seem to accept poisoned mice when I've cheated them in).
If you want to use cheats press . on the keyboard. Then enter 'holditem' 'Poisoned Mouse' or 'killnpc' and then the character you want to kill.

Click the map, go to the mountains and click the up arrow, then keep going right until there is a hill-like slope, climb it and go in the cave ,the moonstone should be there
