I've been trying to hunt prey for ages and I can't catch a single one no matter how close I am to them (without touching), is this a bug or am I just missing something and I'm just bad?

(Also btw I have the same issue with your other game Hicktory Isles, but I'm not too bothered with it because I can just hunt the birds)
you get all the stars "full" then you buy him/her a bouquet then you get all the hearts full then u give him a diamond and then get all the rings full then sleep a bit in ur nest and talk to him and he'll ask you to make kits :3 (u can buy the bouquet and the diamond in the cafe)

I had kits with my mate but how do I make them become apprentices or when are they gonna become apprentices?
